The Annual International Saab Meeting will take place in Interlaken, Switzerland from 13th – 15th August 2010. We would like to meet up a few days before in the Black Forest, one of the most famous countrysides in Germany with our Saabs and spend a few pleasant days together before we head on for Interlaken on the 13th August. All of you, driving via Germany to Switzerland will passing the Black Forest anyway. Everybody driving a Saab is welcome
Our meeting will take place at the Kirnbergsee (a small lake) atBräunlingen-Unterbränd situated in the southern part of the BlackForest. This very picturesque countryside offers many opportunities for leisure-time activities, sightseeing, beautiful roads and the distance to the International Saab Meeting in Switzerland is only 200 km
A separate part of a meadow at the camping site directly at the lake is reserved for us, we will spend all 3 nights there. You can camp, live in a comfortable wooden cabin and in walking distance is a hotel and holiday appartments
To cover the long distance between north and south Germany you cantake the train with your car from Hamburg to Lörrach near Basel
It will be a casual Meeting with fringe events holding the motto “do whatever makes you happy”. We are planning tours according to road book, sightseeing tours (culture, technique, nature), and above all contact with many happy going Saab drivers
The meeting is for free! Every participant should bear all costs incurred for meals and accommodation, see our acommodation site
Even if this meeting is for free we kindly ask you to registrate not laterthan end of May
We are a handful of Saab enthusiasts who met and really enjoyed the pre-meeting in 2008 prior to the International Saab Meeting in Latvia
Our meeting in the Black forest is organised separately to the official Saab Club Meeting in Switzerland
